In case you missed it, MRAs are trying to start #INeedMasculismBecause trending on Twitter, and awesome people are trolling the tag like it’s nobody’s business. This tweet here pretty much exemplifies, in my opinion, why men’s rights activism just shouldn’t exist.

I just saw this question, and it got me thinking.

You can re-live any point of time in your life. The time-span can only be a half-hour, though. What half-hour of your past would you like to experience again?

I think if I could do this I would save it.
I’m not even 18 yet, why would I want to relive anything, if it’s close and fresh enough.
No, I think that I would save it until I’m old and about to die, I would use it in my very last moments, because I would have so much more life to choose from, and things I missed so much more.
I think I’d go back and just spend half an hour as a child, with family that had been gone for years, so loved and so missed. Half an hour of freedom from a lifetime’s guilt and regret and pain and grief, to be happy and surrounded by the loved ones that couldn’t be by my side as I died.

And I think that knowledge would give me hope my whole life, no matter how bad losing someone might hurt, how much missing and grief I endured, I would still see them again someday, and I could make do in the mean time.
And even if I died unexpectedly, I would still die with that hope in my heart.

I think it would be a very powerful thing.
